Most cards have the following fields: name, address, date of birth, date of order of admission, date certificate issued, the court it was issued at, petition #, alien registration number, and the signature of the holder. Cards in the section "Extras A-Z" are all from the 1800s. Some cards are blank or half filled out. The fields for these cards include: family name, given name, address, certificate number or vol. and page, title of court, country of birth, Age/DOB, Date of arrival in U.S., date of naturalization, names of witnesses. The back of the card has space for if the certificate was canceled, if the person was expatriated or deceased, and room for other notes.
