Brief entries of municipal criminal cases tried by the county trial magistrates prior to the establishment of the District Court, with warrants issued for traffic violations and other infractions of municipal codes. Each entry includes case number, name of defendant, charge, plea, disposition, and sentence. Each volume is arranged by case number and contains an index. Series not fully processed. Criminal cases after 1981 are also available through the Judicial Information System, a statewide database for accessing court records. Eventually information from all records back to July 1971 will be found in JIS through a program to replace paper records with electronic media and film copies.
