This record series is comprised of digital scans of Baltimore City Birth Records in the custody of the Division of Vital Records. Each unit represents a "volume". In some instances larger volumes are broken down into sub-units in order to better accommodate the scanning process. Units and sub-units are organized by the date when the certificate was created and birth certificate number. Please note that some of the earlier volumes include birth certificates from preceding years.
