MDPropertyView (also known as WebCompanion) editions consist of tax and parcel data only, as well as a simple software viewer. CDs also include a State Highway Administration roap map, a black and white satellite image, a Tax Map Index Grid, and an ADC Page Number Grid to help oriend users to locations inside each jurisdiction. However, tax maps are not provided for Baltimore City; parcels are referenced by a detailed road map.
FINDER editions consist of WebCompanion material (tax and parcel data), plus custom software. CDs also include a State Highway Administration roap map, a black and white satellite image, a Tax Map Index Grid, and an ADC Page Number Grid to help oriend users to locations inside each jurisdiction. However, tax maps are not provided for Baltimore City; parcels are referenced by a detailed road map. The custom software was designed by the Department of Planning for advanced interactive search and export function, as well as to add additional data layers (from online and user-supplied). Functionality existed to connect current SDAT data, via the Internet, to the viewer. However, due to the age of this software and the FINDER data, this function cannot be guaranteed to still function properly.
