Record of officers commissioned in Maryland units. Entries indicate name, residence, company, regiment, brigade, division, date commissioned, oath, and remarks. Some volumes include occupation; birth date and place; height; color of eyes, hair, and complexion; and date resigned. Most volumes arranged by unit. Some volumes indexed by unit, others by name. Also available on microfilm for 1794-1816, [MSA SM105], 1 reel. Indexed in MARYLAND INDEXES (Militia Records, Index) 1794-1824 [MSA S1424].
