Series Description
Plats of proposed condominium developments. Rendered on sheets of linen, mylar, or paper, each plat shows a drawing of the proposed divisions within a parcel of land, the placement of the units and other structures, and the floor plans of each unit. The records bear the names of the developer, surveyor, and land owner; scale of drawing; coordinates; courses; distances; approvals and certifications issued by state and local agencies showing legal compliance; recordation and filing dates with the circuit court; and condominium plat number and book reference. The documents are numbered with the letter E and a number, beginning with E1. The book references are numbered similarly, beginning with volume E1. Plats dated 1991-1995 are also available on microfilm in series SM212. Access available in electronic form created by the Archives from the accessions database. Earlier plats are found in (Subdivision Plats, AA) in series S1235 that also includes some filed after 1974.
