Series Description
Photograph album. Contains black and white silver photographs with locations and captions that depict scenes of erosion caused by agriculture as well as conservation practices including strip cropping and drainage ditches. Includes rural scenes of most Maryland counties. Some aerial photographs. Photographs taken from 1936-1945 by the University of Maryland extension service. Album created by the extension service to illustrate problems of erosion and conservation practices devised to solve those problems.
