Series Description
Please note: Collection Districts and Election Districts are not identical. After 1813 the districts used for assessments are always Election Districts although some records are labeled as Collection Districts. The five Election Districts created in 1813 were redrawn in 1822 [Acts of 1821, ch. 223].
