Record of appraisals authorized by order of orphans' court, giving estate, date, itemized list of personal property, amount, total, witnesses, appraisers, date filed, signature of register of wills; some volumes also contains list of debts. These are arranged chronologically by date recorded. Volumes WG 1 and TJ 2 are records of inventories in the Howard District of Anne Arundel County from 1848 - 1851; in 1851, Howard County was created, but TJ 2 crossed over into the new jurisdiction.
