Record of proceedings of commissioners appointed by the court to
perpetuate or restore land boundaries, 1774-1843 and 1961, to
divide or sell inherited land, 1790-1896, and to lay out private
roads, 1807-1826. Land boundary documents usually consist of

commission reports, but only a few surveys and plats. Estate

commissioners, and commission reports which usually include
surveys and plats. Road records consist of petitions, court

usually include surveys and plats. The books are available also
on film in series CM250 and CM229, but the quality of most images
ranges from fair to unreadable.
