 Details1799-1867This photostat copy of the marriage license volume containing the years 1799-1866 was discovered stored at the Montgomery County Circuit Court in 2016 and transferred to the State Archives. The Historical Records Survey, conducted by the Works Progress Administration in 1939, indicates there were two photostat copies and that the originals were in the safe of the Clerk's Office. As of 2019 the original record has not been located. Until 2016, the State Archives held only a third party transcript for these years (see CM724), and later barrowed a photostatic copy of this volume from the Montgomery County Historical Society, now available in digitized form as Special Collection 3985-1-1 -Joe Leizear, 2019 OR/28/24/043C3354-1
