Record of insolvency proceedings conducted under state law. The case papers were transcribed because the insolvent individuals owned land. Documents include petitions, court orders, lists of creditors, bonds of trustees, deeds to trustees, schedules of personal and real properties, surveys and plats, and reports of sales. References to the plats are found in (Plats on Microfilm, SO, Index) in series S1545. The Archives will develop an electronic finding aid from S1545, supplemented by the records themselves.
