Series Description
The county copies of subdivision and condominium plats, filed with the circuit court since 1946 and 1982 respectively. The series also contains survey and easement plats. The latter encompass roads, streets, railroads, and utilities. In general the documents are arranged chronologically by filing date, and referenced with book and page numbers. The plats from the first twenty books, 1946-1983, have been placed in portfolio boxes. The rest are filed in map drawers. The plats in this series will be used to supplement (Subdivision Plats, SM) in series S1252 as needed to fill in gaps or provide more complete or clearer copies. Earlier records are found in (Plats from Land Records) in series C2221 and C2222.
