These right of way and survey plats of roads and streets come from the Montgomery County Department of Public Works and Transportation, Engineering Services Division. The records include copies of right of way and subdivision plats filed with the circuit court. Three hundred plats were loaned to the Archives for filming [MSA CM1288]. The records are arranged within one of two systems, either numerical by file number for those filed with the circuit court or alphabetical by description, usually street name, for those not recorded with the circuit court.
